Castings Aluminum Company makes many types of aluminum boxes using the die casting process. These “Boxes” are also known as “Chassis” or “Enclosures” and “Housings”. Castings Aluminum manufactured an aluminum box known as a Guitar Amplifier Chassis, which was used in the music industry. The housing was manufactured and painted to look perfect for a music amplifier.
Guitar Amplifier Chassis Die Casting is an aluminum die casting part that was developed here at Castings Aluminum Company for a company called Damage Control. Damage Control purchased thousands of these aluminum Guitar Amplifier Chassis from us in 100-200 part increments, complete and ready for assembly. The tool to produce this part has three slides and the tool cost them around $20,000 to produce. The part cost is around $3.00 each part. In the end the customer was very pleased with the results.
Aluminum boxes come in all shapes and sizes, for instance we also develop housing parts for military and automotive. Electrical sockets, are created as a housing part to hold electrical wires and sockets. Castings Aluminum manufactures all these parts for our customers. Guitar Amplifiers are one kind of part, but there are hundreds of other types of housings that we develop.
